Absolutely the most incredible spetacular that brings the majesty and grace of the horse to life-unmissable

Tuesday, 18th Aug 2009 by Sarah

War Horse is for the kind of people who go gooey over horses. I know that ought to be obvious, but I was expecting a better deconstruction of WWI. The posh have always cared more about animals than people (that's why we got the RSPCA 60 yrs before the NSPCC). So the descendents of the Officer Class who sent millions of working-class Tommies to their deaths get their knickers in a twist over a horse.

Journey's End it is not. It's not even The Accrington Pals. And there's far too much shouting. Ever heard of projection, guys?
