Imagine everything you did between the years of 1994 - 2010. Now remove all of it! 16 years were taken away from Sunny Jacobs, convicted and sentenced to death for a crime she did not commit.
Culled from interviews, letters, transcripts, case files, and the public record, The Exonerated tells the true stories of six people sent to Death Row for crimes they did not commit, the interweaving stories paint a picture of an American criminal justice system gone horribly wrong and of six brave souls who persevered to survive it.
Winner of the 2003 Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards, The Exonerated played over 600 off-Broadway performances, was made into a film starring Brian Dennehy, Danny Glover, Aidan Quinn and Susan Sarandon and has been produced internationally in Dublin, Edinburgh, London, Japan, Mexico, and Italy. The cast for The Exonerated includes Golden Globe and BAFTA nominated actress Lisa Eichorn, legendary British Entertainer Derek Griffiths, West End leading man Glenn Carter and Kelle Bryan, star of the chart topping band Eternal.
