Myleene Klass presents the Classic FM Christmas Spectacular this December, leading audiences at the O2 through an evening of high quality entertainment. Joined in the proceedings by Rhydian Robert, Ruthie Henshall, Raymond Gubbay, tenor Jon Christos and sopranos Stephanie Corley & Alison Jiear, plus the prestigious Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (lead by the renowned Anthony Inglis), it is likely to be an unforgettable evening.
Klass has rarely been off of our screens since she first appeared early in the last decade as a winner on reality talent show “Popstars”, which landed her a place in the pop group “Hear’Say” and made her into a household name. She would release two albums with the group, before embarking on a solo career with albums like “Moving On” and “Myleene’s Music for Romance”, whilst also turning her talents to television presenting and modelling. It means that she has appeared in everything from “The X Factor” to “I’m a Celebrity Get Me Outta Here!” and she is certain to make a wonderful host for the Christmas Spectacular.
And whilst she is presenting an array of top talents of the music world, she will also be presenting an evening with some equally awe-inspiring visual treats. From dazzling effects to an epic indoor firework finale, it is a show that will be a delight to an abundance of senses and it is certain to make this Christmas a special one indeed.
This will also be helped by the work of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, who will be lead by the popular conductor Anthony Inglis. It will be the latest occasion in which he has worked with the orchestra, having previously worked with them for one of his many recordings (which also includes a Grammy-nominated release with the London Symphony Orchestra). Inglis’s work has been heard all over the world, not only in popular recordings, but also with work that has seen him conduct world-renowned orchestras, whilst also taking on royal duties and more.
So it is safe to say that the evening will be a spectacular one, with music that ranges from traditional classics and carols to some high profile Christmas number ones, plus visual treats to give some lasting memories.
The Christmas Spectacular makes its way to the O2 this season with a one night show on Thursday 23rd December 2010.
