Synopsis

The Leicester Square Theatre is no stranger to some of the most unique shows around and this summer it will prove this once again as a fun-filled kids’ show comes to town. In the past the venue has seen the biggest names in comedy take to the stage alongside up and coming stars, plus a range of music, variety and theatrical performances from the country’s top talents. It makes it a unique venue in the London theatre scene and the perfect location for “The Go!Go!Go! Show” when it arrives at the location this July, ready to entertain children of all ages for its month-long run.

The Go!Go!Go! Show features everything you might want from a high quality piece of entertainment – great songs, spectacular dance routines and some new pop stars for audiences to enjoy. Then there is the ‘fluffalop’ which, so far, has been described as something that has a nasty habit of stealing people’s socks. So with “The Go!Go!Go! Show” you never quite know what to expect as these talented performers take to the stage and present an adventurous performance of smile-inducing spectacle.

But that’s not all. If you need more proof that “The Go!Go!Go! Show” has something to offer, then look no further than the wealth of talent that has been working behind the scenes. Carole Todd, who has worked as a director and choreographer on a host of West End productions, including “Dreamboats and Petticoats” and “Helly, Dolly!” amongst others, takes on directing duties, whilst Paul Domaine works as choreographer. Meanwhile, the story comes from the writer behind a host of children’s television shows - Dean Wilkinson - who uses the skills he learnt on the likes of “SM:TV Live” and others to bring “The Go!Go!Go! Show” to life. Then there’s the music, which is brought to us by the team of Mike Stock and Steve Crosby, the former of whom is best known as a member of the production group “Stock Aitken Waterman”, and the latter of whom is the mind that brought us the pop group Steps.

So with The Go!Go!Go! Show audiences will leave the Leicester Square Theatre with a smile on their faces as they relish in the memories of great song and dance numbers, some colourful characters and a wealth of top performers. It begins its run at the venue on Tuesday 20th July 2010 and remains until Monday 30th August 2010.
