Broadway comes to the West End in 2010 as “Will & Grace” star Megan Mullally makes an anticipated appearance at the Vaudeville Theatre this February, taking audiences on a musical journey with her band the Supreme Music Program.
It will be the first appearance from Mullally on a stage outside of the US, making this a European first as she performs for eight evenings of toe-tapping excitement.
For fans of Mullally and the Supreme Music Program, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness their performance style live on stage, so gaining Megan Mullally tickets is a must as she makes her way to the Vaudeville from 16th February 2010.
Mullally has a long history with the Supreme Music Program and has recorded three studio albums with them, including “The Sweetheart Break-In”, “Big as a Berry” and “Free Again!” Expect songs from these albums on the stage of the Vaudeville as they add the London theatre to the long list of venues they have played at, including The Kennedy Center and the Lincoln Center in the US.
Beyond the Supreme Music Program, Mullally is an Emmy Award winning star who has appeared in a range of television shows and Broadway productions, with her most famous role to date being her portrayal of Karen Walker in the hit television comedy “Will & Grace”. It was a role that earned her Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Emmys, with huge audiences tuning in all around the world. Her other credits include TV shows such as “How I Met Your Mother”, “The Megan Mullally Show” and “30 Rock”, whilst her Broadway credits are made up of Mel Brooks’ “Young Frankenstein”, “How To Succeed In Show Business Without Really Trying” and her debut in “Grease” alongside Rosie O’Donnell in 1994. She also recently found the time to appear in the new movie version of “Fame” in which she sung the solo track “You Took Advantage of Me”, with other movies such as “Bee Movie” and “Teacher’s Pet” under her belt.
But she will soon be combining her Broadway and television routes with a new Broadway musical that sees her reprise her role of Karen Walker. The show, titled “Karen: The Musical” is expected to do big business when it opens in New York, cementing her long lasting appeal in the role.
Megan Mullally and the Supreme Music Program perform at the Vaudeville Theatre from Tuesday 16th February 2010 to Sunday 21st February 2010.
