The Australian comedian Caroline Reid is back for another show in the UK under the guise of airline hostess Pam Ann, ready to take audiences on another hilarious journey likes those that have won her fans around the world.
Her shows have been described as a mixture between glamour, camp and drag, utilising a range of techniques to leave audiences in stitches and cement her status as an unbeatable comic talent.
So when you arrive at the London Palladium for the show, expect an evening that highlights all of the vagaries of air travel. Her shows have a tendency of turning the airline industry upside down by showing it her sharp tongue and an array of double entendres that will shock as well as raise a smile or two. With risqué themes and farcical encounters it not something to miss if you are a fan of comedy, with Caroline Reid leading in her field having been a part of the comedy circuit since 1981.
Since that date she has appeared on stages all around the world, from cities in Canada, the UK, Australia and the US, all the way bringing new fans to her shows. She even has some celebrity friends that enjoy her brand of humour, catering for the likes of David Furnish and Cher, whilst also engaging in friendships with the likes of Dannii Minogue.
Being a well known comedy talent, Caroline Reid and Pam Ann have appeared in numerous television shows and movies. Amongst her credits are the BBC show “Fast Track” and the movie “Confetti”. She was also seen in a range of online adverts for British Airways, which utilised her star persona for some comic ads, dealing with an array of scenarios one might face on any flight.
She has also released various DVDs of her shows, including the 2007 “Come Fly With Me”, and the 2008 release “Terror At 41,000 ft”, so it is safe to say she has fans that will buy her work. With many projects in the pipeline she is also someone we are going to be seeing lots of for years to come.
“Pam Ann” makes her appearance at the London Palladium on Sunday 6th December 2009 and Sunday 13th December 2009 with shows starting at 7pm.
