Swedish circus stars Cirkus Cirkör will be making a welcome appearance on the stage of the Peacock Theatre this October with their new show “Inside Out”, which promises to showcase the talents and showmanship of which this acclaimed company is capable.

They are a group with a large cult following, which has seen them perform on stages around the world. Their fans cannot get enough of their spectacular skills, which manage to seamlessly blend the world of storytelling with breathtaking acrobatics. And if that is not enough, they also manage to bring humour to the table as well.

In “Inside Out”, Cirkus Cirkör will be celebrating the vast world of the circus, focusing on everything that it has to offer. It will highlight the sheer skill of the acts of this art form, with the magic that makes it so popular and its ability to change the outlook of those who witness it. The show is said to be inspired by the intricacies and mysterious nature of the human body as it focuses on the tale of two different characters, both opposed to each other in terms of personality, whose view of the world is changed when they encounter a bizarre and unique circus company, made up of interesting individuals.

The show features eight performers taking to the stage, each with a range of skills to bring to the table, as they balance on seemingly impossible surfaces and perform stunts that seem defy the laws laid down by gravity. Their performance will then be elevated by the pounding bass of the rock band Irya’s Playground, whose music will also compliment film footage that audiences will see projected onto a screen. As a result, theatregoers can expect to witness a truly unique experience that will be like no other show in London.

And it all comes to the Peacock Theatre, a West End venue found in the City of Westminster. In association with Sadler’s Well Theatre, it regularly brings new acts to its stage, particularly focusing on dance acts and other unique performers. Then in the daytime, the London School of Economics take control, showcasing their own works of art.

Audiences wishing to catch Cirkus Cirkör’s “Inside Out” will find the show playing at the Peacock Theatre from Friday 16th October 2009 (previews from Wednesday 14th October 2009) to Saturday 31st October 2009.
