Synopsis

An evening of mind control, paranormal goings on and amazing feats!

Derren Brown is back once again to read your mind! This funny yet dark show will feature the clever mind reading tricks that he employs which leave audiences utterly amazed.

And asking themselves ‘how does he do that’?

Derren Brown is an English mentalist (someone who can read minds) and magician who has the ability to look into people’s minds and by the powers of autosuggestion can influence people’s thoughts and actions.

You probably have heard of ESP – Extra Sensory Perception and this guy is an exponent of that art. By using hypnosis, showmanship and magic he is able to predict what someone is thinking and about to do mainly by their thoughts.  Being able to read the subtle clues in regard to body language and facial gesture also helps.

He has appeared in many television shows in which volunteers take part if a wide variety of stunts which involve hypnosis and paranormal happenings. These include a live séance with students from Roehampton University and The Heist in which selected participants took part in a robbery. The robbery was of course, a set up but the participants had been subtly ‘indoctrinated’ beforehand so that they would undertake the robbery of their free will.

In other words, they and other people in many other stunts have been conditioned by means of mind control and autosuggestion. Brown has also performed in a series of live stage shows in which members of the audience are treated to a range of psychological and paranormal illusions.

Enigma is his latest show and one in which he will challenge the audience even further. With even more outrageous and yet clever feats of mind control this promises to be a trip into the dark side.

This is certain to be a mind altering experience for many people!

Derren Brown: Enigma opens on the 15th June 2009 and runs until the 18th July 2009.
