Mandy Patinkin will bring his solo show to the Duke of York's Theatre in January. The Tony, Golden Globe and Emmy Award winning actor is taking time out from film and television to bring his musical celebration Mandy Patinkin: In Concert to the London venue for a limited run in the New Year. When the entertainer did the same for Broadway, the praise was monumental; “The Greatest Entertainer on Broadway Today – Period” said the New York Post, whilst the New Yorker commented - “From Rodgers & Hammerstein to Sondheim, Schönberg to Irving Berlin & Cole Porter, Mandy Patinkin is in the business of showstopping”.
Patinkin has been an award winning Broadway star for many years and in this production Mandy Patinkin: In Concert the accomplished performer will return to the stage as a concert singer, showcasing and celebrating the work of composers like Stephen Sondheim, Irving Berlin, Harry Chaplin, Rodgers & Hammerstein and Cole Porter.
