Strictly Come Dancing - O2 Arena Tickets

The glitz and glamour of Strictly Come Dancing will be appearing at the O2 Arena in February 2009. It is being showcased there as part of a national tour, which will also take in Birmingham, Sheffield, Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester, Nottingham and the Wembley arena in London. This is a chance for Strictly Come Dancing fans from around the country to witness the spectacle first hand. At the O2 arena this February you will see some well known faces compete in the contest, hoping for the votes from the thousands of fans in the audience. With the well known judges in place, you will be able to see the dancing for yourself and decide who you think is the winner of Strictly Come Dancing!

The celebrities appearing for the live show at the time of writing are as follows: Series two champion Jill Halfpenny will be joined by comic Julian Clary as well as last year’s contestants – Gethin Jones, the former Blue Peter presenter and Kenny Logan, the rugby player. They will perform in front of the judges Len Goodman, Arlene Philips, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood with their professional dancers. But the real judge as always will be you and as part of the audience, you will be deciding who wins or loses.

Though the full details could change, the show is split into two halves, the first forty five minutes will involve the celebs dancing. There is then a twenty minute interval by you will cast your vote! This is followed by the second forty five minutes, during which time the group dance takes place as well as a professional dance. Finally, the winner is announced – all thanks to your vote!

The arena show, of course, is the stage version of the hit BBC programme. On television, Strictly Come Dancing pairs sixteen celebrity contestants with internationally renowned professional dancers. They then learn the great dances, from the Tango to the Mambo. They then perform what they have learnt in front of the studio audience and the judges, with the winner ultimately chosen by the viewing public. It is a widely popular show presented by Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly with judges Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood, Arlene Phillips and Bruno Tonioli.

Strictly Come Dancing is at the O2 Arena on Thursday 5th February 2009 to Sunday 8th February 2009.
